Originally from Winters, Texas, now residing in San Antonio, Erik Bernal is married to Heidi Bernal and the father of five beautiful girls. He is an honors graduate of the University of Tennessee receiving a B.S. in Logistics with a minor in Marketing in 2003. Erik started his career with Accenture in Atlanta as an information technology consultant working with SunTrust Bank and the State of North Carolina. He moved on from Accenture in the fall of 2004 working as a sales representative for Schindler Elevator in New Orleans.
When Hurricane Katrina struck southern Louisiana in August of 2005, Bernal became extremely concerned with the environmental impact. Thus began his journey with water quality. He began working in various roles in the Central U.S., understanding the challenges of inadequate water quality. In August of 2007, he was provided an exclusive contract with GE Water and Pentair Water Filtration for San Antonio, Texas. He has since expanded his territory to include Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Florida, Nevada, and soon to be moving his products into the Southeast. Currently, Elite Water Systems is manufacturing and distributing water and air quality solutions in multiple market segments including residential and commercial construction as well as yachts in the high-end marine industry.
Since 2016, Bernal has progressively built his organization into a total home wellness-driven organization focused on indoor air quality, water quality and smart plumbing solutions working with over 60 home builders including many in the Top 10. Erik and his team are recognized as thought leaders in the residential industry providing environmentally sound and pandemic-ready solutions that are affordable and scalable across all market segments. Today, Bernal enjoys spending his free time with his wife and daughters traveling as well as attending sporting events.

Outside his professional endeavors, he cherishes family time, indulging in travel and sports events.
Kathy Cabello's tenure with Elite Water Systems began in October 2010, marked by her commitment and proficiency, guiding her through various roles to her current position as Chief Operations Officer in March 2021. With a substantial background in customer-centric roles and process optimization, Kathy has been instrumental in enhancing both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within the company. In her capacity as COO, she leads business operations, fosters innovation, cultivates client relationships, and drives strategic growth initiatives. Leveraging her prior experience in the real estate sector and holding a master's degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix, Kathy brings a wealth of expertise to her leadership role. Proud of her San Antonio roots, she finds fulfillment in contributing to the emerging new home and wellness sectors. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Kathy values her role as a mother to two adult children and enjoys engaging in family activities, attending church, participating in sports, traveling, and actively involving herself in community service endeavors during her leisure time.
In September of 2018, Ed joined Elite Water as an Account Manager, bringing with him a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years in sales, service, and marketing. For the past 12 years, he served as a sales consultant for new home builders, honing his expertise. Recently, Ed was promoted to Territory Manager, a testament to his dedication and capabilities. In this role, he enhances our partnerships, recognizing the paramount importance of fostering strong relationships. He diligently educates our builder partners and homeowners on the significance of pure air and water, underscoring his commitment to excellence.
Originally hailing from Illinois, Ed has called San Antonio home for the past 25 years, where he met his wife Leslie, with whom he shares an 18-year journey. Outside of work, Ed enjoys spending quality time with his family, indulging in activities like cycling or kayaking. He's also a proud supporter of his son Aiden's musical endeavors, eagerly awaiting his first gig as a drummer.
Chuck Medley serves as an Account Manager at Elite Water Systems, where his primary responsibilities include overseeing accounts for the builder program and sales. With a robust background encompassing over three decades of customer service expertise, Chuck adeptly addresses the diverse needs of clients and homeowners. Wesley Stigger transitioned to Elite Water Systems in 2020 as a technician and swiftly ascended to the position of Account Manager. Leveraging his deep understanding of air and water filtration products, Wesley excels in delivering optimal solutions for his clients' residential and commercial needs. His fervent commitment to health and wellness permeates both his professional endeavors and personal life. Outside of work, Wesley dedicates time to fitness pursuits, enjoys recreational activities like video games, and cherishes moments spent with his supportive family and friends, embodying a well-rounded approach to life and work.
Julie Gutierrez has served the customers of Elite Water Systems since January 2014 and most recently, as the Quality Assurance Manager since December 2017. She serves as a liaison between the customer and company, ensuring a positive experience with Elite Water. Julie is an expert in communicating, customer service, and follow-up. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activates, spending time with my family, and gourmet cooking.
Mike Marquez holds the role of Service and Safety Manager at Elite Water Systems, a position he has held since January 2014, following his tenure that began in August 2009. In his capacity, Mike is tasked with overseeing the service team, prioritizing employee safety, and optimizing service department procurement and productivity. He is deeply committed to delivering quality water solutions to every homeowner in San Antonio. With a TCEQ Class III license as an installer and extensive experience in various water treatment methods, coupled with OSHA certification, Mike brings a wealth of expertise to his role. Proudly hailing from San Antonio, Texas, he enjoys leisure activities such as visiting the shooting range and cherishing moments with his family.
As the Warehouse Manager for the past year, I bring a diverse background, having previously spent a decade in the banking sector. Despite the shift in industries, my time behind a desk equipped me with essential Microsoft skills that facilitated my transition into this role. Created to alleviate some of the service manager's workload, my position underscores the company's dedication to operational efficiency. Outside of work, I enjoy watching and attending sports games, particularly supporting teams like the Cowboys, Spurs, and Astros. Looking forward, I aspire to travel more, with destinations like Hawaii, New York, the Bahamas, and California on my list. Weekends often find me unwinding at the beach, and I take pride in being a parent to two children, Sara and Josiah, aged 6 and 4, respectively.
